Visual Artist - Sculptor Extraordinaire - Fabien SALIMAN, a talented Franco-Mauritian artist, embarked on a lifelong journey fueled by his early passion for drawing, graphics, painting, and, above all, the art of sculpture, which has been his primary pursuit for over two decades. His creative roots extend deep into the realms of Japan, comics, the world of science fiction, timeless manga and art history without limits or frontiers. In Fabien's workshop, samurais come to life through the craftsmanship of noble materials, including different types of wood, embroidered fabrics, textiles reminiscent of Japanese heritage, stones and pearls, gold or silver leaf, precious metal inlay and embroidery. The aim is to bring to life imposing creatures adorned with horns, mask armor and katanas. In this union of modernity and tradition, Fabien's characters traverse the boundaries of time: Samurai, Robots, Minotaurs... What sets Fabien apart is his fascination with crafting sculptures that breathe life into characters and creatures, a blending of multicultural influences.
